Alternativ SKF GS300 oilflowmeter

Is there an alternative to SKF GS300 oilflowmeter ?

Yes there is, prepare to upgrade from an obsolete instrument to a performing cost-saver

When overhauling existing equipment, a project can come to a halt when an item is obsoleted by the manufacturer.
This is what happened when a German company needed a replecement instrument for a low-flow oil-measurement.
In the machine that was being upgraded, the motor-control would only release the main motor after it is ensured that the main-bearing lubrication oil-flow is effective.
This oilflow was originally monitored by an SKF GS300 flowmeter, which unfortunately is no longer available in the market.

One-off need, fully compatible

When overhauling or upgrading a machine, the unplanned trouble of one missing component is a major disturbance.
There’s urgency to get the machine assembled and back in operation.
There’s a strong wish to have a 1:1 replacement, including compatible controls.
There’s a wish to find a solution that fits in the original budget.
There’s also good news 😉

Got it, an alternative to SKF GS300

To offer you the same functionality as the SKF GS300, we combine a low-flow ovalgear-flowmeter of B.I.O.tech with a Digmesa FC Pro display and programmable switch.
The switch will operate when the oil-flow has reached the programmed setpoint.

Some interesting differences

Differences to the original SKF GS300 are:

  1. Bigger measuring range
  2. Easy programming
  3. Local display with cable-length for optimal positioning and access
  4. Short lead-times
  5. Possibility to customize
  6. LOWER list-price

One-off or series.
